Wheeling Hospital, founded in 1850, is the oldest hospital in West Virginia. The 276 bed health care facility has a Partnership in Science Agreement with the National Cancer Institute, a cancer center with a world-renowned reputation for treatment of prostate cancer, a heart center providing minimally invasive open heart surgery, and a state-of-the-art wellness center with over 4,000 members.
