Riverfront movie nights – a family adventure!
Wheeling, WV – The City of Wheeling announces the Riverfront Movie Night Schedule for 2009! The first movie night will be Friday, June 19th.
Riverfront Movie Nights are brought to you by the City of Wheeling and Wheeling National Heritage Area Corporation and are sponsored by JPMorganChase. Complimentary popcorn is provided by The Vineyard Church of Wheeling.
Audience participation is encouraged this year, so adults and children alike are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite Star Wars character, wear your storm trooper costume, dress like Chewbacca or just bring Star Wars stuff. Experience the movie in a whole new way by being the character!
The dates for the Riverfront Movie Nights are:
Friday, June 19th: Kung Fu Panda (PG)
Friday, June 26th: Hotel For Dogs (PG)
Friday, July 10th: Star Wars: The Clone Wars (PG)
Friday, July 17th: Journey To The Center of the Earth – in 3D! (PG)
Friday, August 14th: Iron Man (PG-13)
Riverfront Movie Nights are FREE and start at dusk (approximately 9:00 pm) at Heritage Port. The rules for these events are no alcohol, no smoking, and no pets. Folding chairs will be permitted in the grass area. In case of inclement weather, the movie nights may be moved inside to WesBanco Arena pending arena availability.
